My new blog name

I've changed my blog name from Shadow Lane Quilts and Crafts to MY Quilts and Crafts. 

When I first started blogging in January 2014, I named my blog in the memory of our beloved dog, Shadow, who passed away only a few months earlier.  We adopted Shadow in 2001 when he was only a few months old.  He had been with us for 12 years before we had to put him to sleep because of cancer.  Shadow was smart, gentle and overall good nature dog.  He was the best dog for our family and we loved him dearly.  He would follow my children, who were 11 and 8 years old at the time, everywhere.  Hence the name Shadow.  When my son rode his bike in our backyard, Shadow would run right behind him.  I miss him everyday.  Every time I saw a black lab I thought of him.  He holds a special place in our hearts.

Recently I came across a shady site with a similar name and immediately thought I had to get far away from it as fast as I could.  That prompted a decision to change the name.

The new name 'MY Quilts and Crafts' stands for Margo Yang Quilts and Crafts.  This new name conveys my love of all things creative.

The transition from the old blog to the new one is not that difficult, and I hope it will go smoothly without problems.  I hope you all will comeback and visit me at the new blog.  If you have any problem, please email me at craftheaven09@gmail.com.
