This is cute! I've been working on mine for awhile now. I'm finally at the vine stage. I'm new so cutting my expensive fabric correctly was important to me. Lol. I'll sen a photo when finished. Do you have any tips for a newbie on that scallop edge? :)
Kelley, thanks for visiting my blog. Isn't this a cute design? I'm the same with you when it comes to cutting. I'll try my best to minimize the waste, like you said, the fabrics are expensive. Actually I'm new at the scalloped edge myself. After I marked the edges according to the instructions, I machine basted close to the edges before cutting. I think this helps to keep all the layers together and the scalloped shapes will stay the same while I sew on the binding. I hope this helps. Can't wait to see your picture.
I especially love the Cherry Jubilee design Margo - great job! I cannot believe it is the first time that you attempted some of the techniques. As usual, it is beautiful.
